Star Wars fans all around the world rejoiced as the Episode VII cast was announced via Starwars.com!

The new addition to the epic Star Wars saga will be set 30 years after Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, which makes sense given the age of the returning cast.

Han Solo (played by Harrison Ford) is said to be playing a huge role in the new movie and we now know for sure that Leia, Luke, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and R2-D2 will be joining him on screen again.

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will be joining some of the original actors of the beloved saga–Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker, for Episode VII.

“Star Wars: Episode VII” is directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay adaptation by Lawrence Kasdan and Abdams.

John Williams will also be returning as the composer.

The “Star Wars: Episode VII” movie opens worldwide December 18, 2015.
