Nicaraguan fashion designer Shantall Lacayo rocks red carpet at the Latin Billboards
Nicaraguan fashion designer Shantall Lacayo, who designed exclusive pieces for Leila Cobo, Executive Director of Latin Content and Programming for the Billboards, rocked the red carpet at the 2016 Latin Billboard Awards in Miami.
Lacayo, whose claim to fame came in 2010 when she was attending La Escuela Argentina de la Moda and became a top-3 finalist on Project Runway Latin America, wore a stunning open-back white gown of her own design.
She accentuated her red-carpet-look with small yet elegant accessories, such as a pair of pink and silver chandelier earrings from Nicaraguan jewelry house, Fassino Joyeria and pulled her look together with a textured ponytail and a bold burgundy lip in “Kourt K” from Kylie Cosmetics , thanks to make-up artist @makeupbaby.
In an interview with Press Pass Latino, Lacayo, whose work has often been featured in prestigious fashion publications such as Haarper’s Baazar Argentina, shared her plans of moving to Miami in the near future.
Lacayo, who describes her style as “multi-faceted” and a fusion of “art and design”, said she enjoys designing for “women with confidence and poise”.
