On Valentine’s Day forget gifts, focus on romantic activities instead

On Valentine's Day cook a homemade meal for your loved one.

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and you still haven’t gotten your sweetheart anything! Well, look no further! You’ve come across the right article and we’ll help you out: FORGET THE GIFT!

No, I’m not crazy, but I think there’s nothing more upsetting than a last minute gift. Last minute gifts equal no thought and no effort. So, instead of giving your love a gift they already have or that will just be one more material object in their lives, spend your energy planning a fun activity or night out.

This Valentine’s Day opt out of your usual routine and check out these ideas which will make this Valentine’s Day unforgettable for both you and your amorsito:

STAY IN, GOING OUT IS OVERRATED

For Valentine's Day plan a romantic dinner at home.

Forget fancy restaurants! You can enjoy a romantic and intimate dinner from the comfort of your own home.

If you’ve ever gone out on Valentine’s Day you know what a hassle it can be to RSVP at your favorite restaurant. Not only is parking and traffic a nightmare  but chances are wherever you’re going will have a long wait.  Why not skip all the hassle, switch it up and stay in instead. When was the last time it was just the two of you, at home, by yourselves?

Take the time to enjoy one another’s company. Make it a point to disconnect and turn your cell phones off  so that you can really focus on one another and reconnect with each other.

Have a nice romantic candle-lit dinner for two. Head over to OMAHA Steak or your nearest supermarket and cook your favorite meal in the luxury of your own home. You can really personalize it and make a  Valentine’s Day dinner menu  for just the two of you. Decorate the table with some of your favorite pictures and finish it with a beautiful bouquet of flowers or a lit candle.

BUT IF YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST GO OUT…

The best dinners are enjoyed with a view.

If you absolutely must go out for dinner on Valentine’s Day, a restaurant with a beautiful view might be your best bet.

If you’re going to dine out, then make sure it’s dinner with a view. There’s nothing more romantic than sharing a beautiful, romantic view with someone you love.

If you live in Miami, RED FISH GRILL located in Matheson Hammocks Beach is one of my top picks. This hidden gem offers seclusion and a romantic waterfront beach dinning experience. You can come by car or boat.

TAKE YOUR LOVER ON A RIDE

If you’re in Miami and looking to get away, you can head  North to Fort Lauderdale, then take your amante on a gondola Lovely Romantico Tour ride. Here, you and your lover will cruise through Las Olas’ water channels admiring the lavish mansions and hopefully gazing into each others eyes. This tour also comes with a Message in A Bottle, a personalized message that is printed onto parchment paper and placed in a bottle for you to give to your sweetheart at any time during your ride, a gesture I’m sure he/she will not see coming.
