‘Every producer in Hollywood conspires to shoot in Miami’ says Ice Cube

In the film “Ride Along 2”, Ice Cube and Kevin Hart play law enforcement officers sent to Miami to help bring down a drug ring. While some parts of the film were shot in Atlanta, the rest were filmed in Miami using key locations such as South Beach and the Port of Miami.
Late last week, the City of Miami and the Official Miami Walk of Fame in the Bayside Marketplace honored the cast of “Ride Along 2” with a star designed by Brazilian Neo-pop artist Romero Britto.

Lead cast members were presented with stars donning their names on the Walk of Fame. However, a third star was dedicated to the entire cast of Ride Along 2.

The 57-year-old actor added: “The location adds a lot of value to the movie and makes you want to be there.”
