Press Pass Latino reporter Jessica Padilla was at international recording artist Ricky Martin’s listening party in Wynwood where a small group of prominent entertainment industry professionals gathered for an exclusive preview of his latest musical production, “A Quien Quiera Escuchar”.

A Quien Quiera Escuchar, which translates to for whoever wants to listen, is Ricky Martin’s upcoming album set for release on February 10th. Martin’s fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of his 10th album after being deprived of new material from the “Living La Vida Loca” singer for the past four years.

The 42-year-old’s talent really shines in his new A Quien Quiera Escuchar production.  In it, Martin features 10 tracks displaying musical influences from the different parts of the world he traveled to in 2014, as he bounced from recording studio to recording studio from his native Puerto Rico to Australia and Miami.

“Adios”, the album’s first single to be launched has already debuted at number two on the US Billboard Latin Digital Songs chart and sold more than 6,000 digital downloads of the song in its first week. Among the other songs featured on this album , the predicted break out tracks will be “Disparo al corazón”, “Perdóname”, “Náufrago”, “La mordidita” and  “Isla bella”, presumably dedicated to Puerto Rico.

Martin once again demonstrates his ever-growing versatility offering a wide array of genres all compiled in one production from House-like beats to jazzy smooth sounds or tropical beating drums from the Caribbean.
