Natti Natasha talks “Perdido en tus Ojos”, Don Omar

Natti Natasha has quickly become a staple on radio waves nationwide.

You’ve heard her songs on the radio with hits like “Dutty Love” along her mentor, Puerto Rican Reggaeton star, Don Omar, and probably danced to her music at parties, but now you can learn more about Natti Natasha from the “Perdido en tus Ojos” singer herself.

The Dominican recording artist opened up about her latest musical productions and professional projects in Press Pass Latino’s up-close-and-personal selfie interview (watch the video above).

However, it was only after reaching a number one spot on Billboard music charts with “Dutty Love”, that Natti Natasha suddenly became one of the most important female singers in the Reggaeton and Latin Pop music genre in the U.S., Latin America and Europe.

“It feels great, it feels amazing that all this hard work and dedication you put into what you love, it pays off,” said the 28-year-old star adding, “and that people actually support us and enjoy what we do.”

Natti Natasha is currently promoting her latest hit single “Perdido en Tus Ojos”, also a collaboration featuring Don Omar. The song has become a radio staple and placed her at the top once again, winning multiple music awards.

She describes Don Omar, her close friend and musical godfather, as being very focused and very disciplined. The Santiago de los Cabelleros native says Don Omar has always let her creative, be herself, and has supported her since the early beginnings of her career.

She was signed to Don Omar’s label, Orfanato Music Group, in 2012 when she released her debut album “All About Me”.

But we couldn’t let Natti Natasha go without asking: “En los ojos de quien se pierde?”
“In whose eyes does she get lost in?”

In between giggles, she answered, “My fans, those people that are always there for me…[laughs] I know it sounds like…but I really do, I have nothing, I have nobody right now, so right now it’s my music what really makes me feel amazing.”

Even so, Natasha, who also collaborated with Reggaeton star Farruko on the single “Crazy in Love”, is busy working on new music, collaborations and website, www.nattinatashamusic.com.

Natti Natasha is a very successful Dominican singer.

Press Pass’D: 5 Things You Don’t Know about Christian Daniel

Hello! Welcome to my creative outlet. I'm a Miami-based News Reporter and Producer from Havana, Cuba. Since the day I was born, I've been surrounded by communicators and influenced by a special sensitivity to the arts. My multifaceted career as journalist and producer was sparked by a curiosity in the entertainment industry when I felt a mesmerizing rush of adrenaline as I was standing in front of a dense audience on the stage of a prestigious beauty pageant in Miami. This curiosity lead me to my next experience. I began working as an intern for the Emmy-winning miniseries, Gabriel and later joined the crew as part of the production team. This project was the catalyst to the beginning of my career in television. I'm a graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications/Journalism. Some of my previous projects include Coral Gables Television, MegaTV, Univision and currently consulting for DIRECTV Latin America. I hope you enjoy this page and feel free to reach me if you have any questions on a specific subject. Saludos, Vero
