In the U.S., The Voice has thousands if not millions of fans. Of course, with judges like Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira and Usher, who wouldn’t want to tune in weekly?
Now, let’s shift to the country of Peru, where their version of the show, La Voz, is on its third season and has recently signed Nicaraguan salsa singer Luis Enrique as one of the judges.
Luis Enrique will join other latino greats such as Gian Marco, Eva Ayllon and Alex Lora on the popular television hit.
La Voz Peru can be streamed live online here, and although the premiere date is still unknown it’s sure to be a great time.
Luis Enrique stated his excitement to start on this new journey in a country that is so heavily influenced by his music and the salsa genre. He said he was ready to find a voice with flavor and just enjoy good music. Looks like he’s ready to discover fresh new talent in Peru!
Enrique has had an exciting past few days as he was recently honored for his 27 years in music by a Nicaraguan group at an event titled Son Nica in Managua, Nicaragua.
When accepting the honor, he stated there was no award or platinum record that would feel better than the love his country has for him. Catch Luis Enrique on the next season of La Voz Peru and be on the look out for his next single titled “Yo voy pa’ encima” also coming soon!
