J Alvarez reaches 9 Million followers on social media

There’s no doubt that Latino artists have strong staying power in the U.S. entertainment industry. Urban music Reggaeton star, J Alvarez, is definitely in that group.

J Alvarez has reached many milestones throughout his music career such as nabbing a couple Latin Grammy nominations in 2012 but is now celebrating one more: the 31-year-old singer from Puerto Rico recently reached nine million followers on his Facebook account.

Alvarez shared the following photo on his Instagram account, @jalvarezoficial :

“Thanks to all my fans. I love you,” wrote Alvarez, who also used the hashtag #DeCaminoPaLaCimaReloaded. His family, friends and fans congratulated the star sending him warm messages of congratulations such as one which read:  “I love you, you’re my king and I’m very proud of you”.

J Alvarez also accounts for 669,000 followers on Instagram and 2.29 million followers on Twitter. He’s currently promoting his latest studio production, De Camino Pa’ La Cima Reloaded, and is on tour in South America.
