
The eclectic cast of Hulu series East Los High won the hearts of fans since the first episode.

Now, just months away from East Los High season four, the show, which has a loyal and growing following, has nabbed two Daytime Emmy Award nominations.
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences recently revealed that “wildly popular teen drama”, East Los High, obtained a nomination in the category of “Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama Series”.
East Los High actor JD Pardo, who portrays Jesus, a dangerous newcomer with a mysterious past, was nominated for “Outstanding Actor in a Digital Daytime Drama Series”.

JD Pardo, 35, who was born in Panorama City, California, to a Salvadorian mother and Argentine father, was first noticed by critics and audiences in 2006 drama “A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story”.
The film earned Pardo an Imagen Foundation Award nomination and led him to take on a slew of other projects including a role in the movie, The Burning Plain, in which he starred alongside Charlize Theron and Jennifer Lawrence. Pardo has also appeared in Breaking Dawn – Part Two and hit series Revolution.
