Cuban Born Maahez makes his big break with new single ‘Papeles’

If there’s one thing we know for sure is that Latinos are making their mark in the music industry and changing all the rules. Nowadays it seems like every other song on the radio has an artist crossover. We saw it firsthand with Luis Fonsi’s ‘Despacito’ & Justin Bieber -which broke world records on YOUtube- and recently with DJ Deorro and Elvis Crespo ‘Bailar’.

Let us introduce to “Artist To Watch Out for” Maahez. Maahez who is an EDM DJ/Music Producer/Songwriter was born in La Habana, Cuba and raised in Miami, FL.

Maahez start to fame began when he released his first single ‘Bring Me Fire’ which went viral and ultimately launched his career as an artist.

Maahez is well-known among piers -Farruko, Diplo, Deorro, Steve Aoki to name a few. He’s co-produced for almost every major Latin artist out there. Maahez is changing the future of mainstream music by bridging his latin roots with his love of EDM.

Before he dropped his recent single ‘Papeles’ his latest release was an official remix of ‘Creep on Me’ with Gashi, DJ SNAKE, & French Montana was making a lot of noise on some of EDMs biggest stages.

Maahez newest single, ‘Papeles’ features Lary Over, Alej, Yashua & Menor Menor. The music video for ‘Papeles’ was directed by Jorge Martinez and Claudia Fernandes and was filmed in Miami, FL. In just a couple weeks the music video has already reached over 1 million views on YouTube.

Maahez recently just singed a 3-single deal with Universal Music Group and a music publishing deal with Warner Chappell.
